Thank you for securing your spot for this MASSIVE art installation on the 4th of July.

Here are some frequently asked questions:

The Commons Address

When: 4th of July 2026 at 12pm

Please register at the registration tables by 12:15pm to ensure your spot in the human mural.  Spots may be given to non-registrants the day of after 12:15pm.

PARKING

There is ACCESSIBLE PARKING around The Commons and all around Downtown Minneapolis.  For more information on where to park click the link below.

Accessible parking in the city

Parking ramps and lots

The city offers safe, convenient, affordable off-street parking options throughout downtown . Find a spot in one of the City’s parking ramps or surface lots or meters.

Public transportation and biking is highly encouraged

Bike racks are along the The Commons and right in front of the US Bank Stadium which is right across from where we will gather.

METRO light rail station just steps away! Take the METRO Blue or Green lines to the event.


What to Wear

Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for standing, laying down on the grass and moving outdoors. Beat the heat! Consider bringing a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, loose layers to adapt to direct sun, shade, or light drizzle for an hour or more.

Please limit your personal items to what is needed

We will have a place to store some personal items and secure them during the art activation.  Please consider only bringing what you need to The Commons which will act as part of our human mural canvas.

Inclement Weather

If there is a chance of postponing due to inclement weather, all registered participants will be updated by email the morning of July 4th.

Feel free to bring food, blankets, and picnic supplies to enjoy after the art action.
